Rent movies.

With titles from every major Hollywood studio, the iTunes Store makes it easy to rent your favorite movies with a click. Standard-definition movie rentals are $2.99 for library titles and $3.99 for new releases. And for just a dollar more, you can rent HD movies directly from your widescreen TV via Apple TV. Rent a movie and you have 30 days to start watching it. Hit Play, and you have 24 hours to finish it — or play it as many times as you want. Rentals disappear when they expire, so they won’t take up space on your hard drive.

Browse and watch.

When you download movies from iTunes, they’re immediately added to your Movies library. View your entire movie collection by title or genre using the gorgeous new Grid View. And when it comes time to play, enjoy a 640-by-480-pixel image1 that looks great on your computer and positively brilliant on your iPod or iPhone. Have an Apple TV? Pair it with your computer and enjoy iTunes movies from the best seat in the house: your couch.

And buy movies.

If you enjoyed the movie you just rented, consider making it a permanent fixture in your digital collection. From comedy to drama, romance to classics, independent to thriller, the iTunes Store has thousands of movies available for purchase. Most start at $9.99. And short films — including popular Pixar animated shorts — cost only $1.99.

Sync and go.

Movies you rent or buy from the iTunes Store transfer to your iPod2 or iPhone to watch on the go. Your iPod or iPhone remembers where you stopped watching on your computer and picks up where you left off.
